Enchanted Evenings in Bumblewood:

Call for Performance Acts

Enchanted Evenings in Bumblewood is an outdoor, public theatrical experience intended to enhance a visit to the fairy village with informal music, theater, and dance performances surrounding the art-installation. These live performances will occur for two hours on Saturday nights (3 total) during the fairy village. We are seeking musicians, dancers, artists, and actors to submit their proposals for participation in this year’s production.

Crankie fest 2025:

"Into the Forest"

We are seeking whimsical, all-ages tales that take us "Into the Forest" for our 2025 Crankie Festival (November 2025).

"Short Form Storytelling: How to Tell a Story for Crankie"


Join world-renowned children's book author and book-coach Janet Fox for a presentation that will explore what makes a great story for a crankie! The presentation will touch on story structure, character, emotion, and how to keep language and art in sync.  This presentation is open to all but is highly recommended for artists considering participation in Random Acts of Silliness 3rd Annual Crankie Festival.
