4. School of four directions

We are a group of 4 mothers and friends who love to collect useful things from nature, teach living skills, and co-create seasonal rituals together. Ashley Martens (East) is a local naturalist and and lover of movement and music, especially the music of birdsong. Julie Kleine (South) enjoys finding the everyday magic in her wonders and wanders. Danielle Nicholas (West): Mamma. Mountain dweller. Mermaid Soul. Amy Carse’s (North) explorations have been coming closer and closer to home and heart where she finds the most nourishment searching for and learning from living treasures.

The Fairies learn to find their bearings as they orient to their own inner knowing. The world is their classroom! Through exploring the Four Directions, the Fairies gain wisdom on their journey. 

Their evolution begins with lessons in the East where they RECEIVE inspiration. Here they find invitations and encouragement for growth among bird songs and the green newness of spring. In the South, they make great leaps and bounds in GROWTH. Fiery South embodies the passion, play, and transformation of the journey. As they come to the waters of the West, the Fairies find RELEASE. Through contemplation and reflection, they dive deeply into their own hearts and souls, bravely letting go of what no longer serves them. This RELEASE allows them to fly free as the Western skies and finds them called to the North to seek their TRUTH while encountering isolation, extreme weather, and guardian animals. They find their TRUTH, which has been with them all along, while dancing together under the Northern Lights! In this delighted awareness, the Fairies awaken once again in the East and the process continues.
