6. The Pumpkin Peddler

After strolling through last year's fairy village at the Gallagator trail, Colby and Maddie were instantly inspired to build their own fairy house. As soon as applications to participate for this year opened, they were so excited to participate. Colby and Maddie love all things Autumnal and knew that nothing would be more whimsical than a pumpkin house in the forest. The Pumpkin Peddler is a shop focussed on magical tricks and gizmos - which reflects their love for toys and games. The structure was handmade out of paper-mache clay and decorated with sticks and moss from some of their favorite trails. The mushrooms were made from Sculpey, baked, and painted.

Colby and Maddie are a student couple attending Montana State University and the Academy of Art University respectively. They both have a passion for cooking vegan food, road trips, and Halloween. On weekends, they can typically be found drinking bubble tea at Steep Mountain Tea House, working on new crafts, or playing games at Rook’s.
