8. The Rosewood Apothecary

You’ll find the Rosewood Apothecary nestled in the crook of a gnarled Hawthorn tree. Inside the open cordwood structure one can view the rustic but tidy workspace of the Apothefairy. She specializes in herbs, elixirs, and potions to cure all manners of dis-ease. This year’s herb harvest hangs from the ceiling, sits in baskets waiting to be processed, or is tucked neatly away into jars. Reference materials and tools of her trade are at the ready. The enchantment alone may cure what ails you, but if a stronger remedy is needed she offers a wide variety of ancient and modern fairy medicine.

Elizabeth Henrichs, builder of the Rosewood Apothecary, is a craftsperson whose work currently manifests itself in the kitchen, garden, and at the Springhill farmers market. She is passionate about folk herbalism, natural childbirth, traditional foods, and crafting a life that is natural, magical, and inspirational for herself and her family. She, her partner, and their two daughters have a home in Belgrade. Rosewood Apothecary is the first of its kind for Elizabeth, but she is excited to see where her collaboration with the fairies will take her next!
