While very small to our human eyes, the village of Bumblewood Thicket has grown rapidly over the years and is now a bustling community of 3,652 residents. Mayor Rowena Dimpletoes works tirelessly to make sure the thicket retains its small town feel despite its inevitable growing pains. She works closely with the Bumblewood Sparks & Rec. department and the Bumblewood Land Trust to ensure access for all to open space and trails. She even recently implemented a state-of-the-art pixie dust recycling program! When she’s not working toward a better Bumblewood, Rowena loves to play Twinkleball in her neighborhood park.
Catherine lives in Bozeman with her very supportive husband Clay and their cat, Nala, her studio companion and art critic. Catherine loves tinkering with different art mediums and teaching classes. She also loves to read, garden, hike and travel. When she was little, Catherine and her sisters created fairy houses in the woods surrounding their home and The Flower Fairies series by Cicely Mary Barker has provided a lot of inspiration. This is Catherine’s fourth fairy house! She loves the joy of the fairy village and is honored to be part of sparking imaginations in both children and adults. You can find Catherine on instagram.
