Katherine headlined Crankie Fest, performing three crankies with her partner, visionary artist and puppeteer Dan Van Allen. The Star was inspired by the song Twinkle Twinkle Little Star. The Bees was an homage to a tiny creature we don’t think of as mythical, but which has been thought to have many mythical powers in legends and folk tales. Sedna was a story inspired by an Inuit legend, written with two Inuit throatsingers who also provided the musical accompaniment.
