This lovely little cottage is the home of Willow Brook, a bright and sunny fairy who is always on the go, and far too busy to spend time cleaning and tidying. Willow loves nothing more than being out on the water in her kayak or on her paddleboard, and she adores her job as a river guide. She chose this spot by the river so that even when she’s on land, she can hear the water babbling. While Willow is super sporty, she also adores all things sparkly, frilly, and pretty, as you can see in her rather untidy bedroom. Willow loves to dance in her fancy outfits. Ballet, tap, waltz, or clog, she’s never met a dance she didn’t love.
Michelle lives up a canyon and next to a ski area with her husband Chris. They are good friends with the creatures in the woods nearby, and are particularly fond of Batty, Birdy, Bunny, Fatty (a marmot) and The Mayor (a squirrel). She has made miniatures for a long time, and when not on a sewing machine or using glue, Michelle can be found on a trail. She loves to go out alone, but the best trail days are with friends, Chris, or their kids, Sam and Isabel. Michelle volunteered to help with Bumblewood Thicket in 2021. She was inspired that year to submit a proposal for 2022 and is now in her third year as a Fairy Architect. There are so many ways to connect with nature, but there is something extra joyful about a fairy house in the woods. You can find Michelle on Instagram.
